There are two detailed reports on the Bull Street Campus that are included in their entirety within this website—the “Bull Street, Columbia, South Carolina” report prepared for the Central Carolina Community Foundation by Duany, Plater-Zyberk & Company, submitted on December 15, 2005 and the “State Hospital Property, Columbia, South Carolina 2007” prepared for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health by Tomlin & Company, Inc.

These reports were undertaken to provide a forum to express community input as well as to provide a conceptual plan for the property.  The City Council of Columbia has endorsed the plan.

At this juncture, however, no entitlements, subdivisions or rezoning have been approved for the property.  The property is currently zoned C-1 (Office and Institutional District – See City of Columbia Development Code).
